1. Information We Collect
ImtihanHub does not require you to create an account or log in to use any feature of the platform. We do not collect personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily contact us via the contact form or subscribe to job alerts. When you visit the site, standard server logs may record your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time of visit. This data is used solely for improving site performance and is never sold or shared with third parties. If you contact us, we collect your name, email address, and message content. If you subscribe to job alerts, we collect your email address and optional board preferences.
2. Cookies & Local Storage
We use minimal, functional cookies and browser local storage only — for example, to remember your selected exam board, dismissed modals, or read articles. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time without affecting core functionality.
3. How We Use Your Information
Any information voluntarily submitted through the contact form (name, email, message) is used only to respond to your inquiry. Email addresses collected via job alerts or news subscriptions are used solely to send requested updates. We do not subscribe you to any mailing list without explicit consent, and we do not share your details with any third party. We process data under the lawful basis of legitimate interest (server logs, site improvement) and consent (contact forms, subscriptions).
4. Third-Party Services
ImtihanHub may use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic patterns. These tools collect anonymised data and are subject to their own privacy policies. We do not use ad networks, affiliate tracking, or social media pixels. Our hosting provider and CDN may process server logs as part of their standard service delivery.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect the site and any data you submit, including HTTPS encryption for all traffic and access controls on our servers. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to avoid submitting sensitive personal information (such as CNIC numbers or bank details) through any online form.
6. Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months to allow follow-up communication, after which they are permanently deleted. Email subscription data is retained until you unsubscribe. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.

8. Children's Privacy
ImtihanHub is designed for students of all ages preparing for government exams in Pakistan. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Cross-Border Transfers
ImtihanHub is operated from Pakistan. If you access the site from outside Pakistan, your data may be transferred to and processed in Pakistan. By using the site, you consent to such transfer.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
